Retirement Plans

Some day I will be that crazy granny everyone laughs at

I’ll wear my hair long and gray, topped with an old straw hat

I eat cake for breakfast and grits for dinner

I’ll dance in the rain and shout like a winner

I’ll laugh out loud in the library

And hid my eyes when its scary

I’ll give the best hugs ever

and be the best baby sitter

Some day I’ll sleep when I choose

But first I must pay my dues

And do what is right as a mother

But I think being a grandma is funner!
