Rainy Day Silliness

I feel it oozing in my shoes, it makes my toes turn pink.

The water creeps, my feet go squish as I go up the street.

Coffee steams as I breathe deep, my mind awakes again

Water trickles down my shirt and I begin to grin.

Hair is plastered to my skull and I must look a fright

I went outside, played in the rain although it isn’t right

I don’t care, I like it wet, its better I must say

To stomp in puddles and laugh outside then stay inside all day

Break time over I try to hide the fact that I am soaked

And that is why I’m sitting here, in my office, in my coat.
