She blamed him for all the things she never did

For what she thought he would think, and so from life she hid

She never  asked him if her thoughts were true

She assumed all his fears were the things she knew

Never stopping to look close  and see fears origin

Fears of failure, life unloved, all born with in

Her trembling soul, a figment of her broken heart

And so she lived in fear of fear, Afraid to even start

And live the life that’s ment for them, she hides in the dark

Side by side, with her man and yet somehow apart.
